Hello my fellow travellers, I wanted to give everyone a quick rundown of all the books I read last year and hopefully it helps you to pick up a few. I did the A-Z book title challenge in 2023 (and failed 😉). On average I had a good reading year.
I have already listed my favourites of 2023 here if you want to check that out.
Below is the StoryGraph summary of my overall ratings for all the books I have read in 2023 and the individual rating for each in alphabetical order of the titles (ignoring the articles A, An, The).
(Based on my own observation, I realise I am very bad at giving 5 ⭐️. Even if I tremendously enjoy something, I still end up giving it a 4 or at max a 4.5 (that’s the highest I have given…ever!) and in the same manner I have never given a 1 ⭐️ either. 2 is the lowest ever. Let’s just say I seem to like and dislike in moderation. 💁🏾♀️)
Since I have not yet found a way to get the half or quarter star symbols in here I am going to use the trustworthy moon to cover the decimals. For example half moon 🌗 represents 0.5.

* In defence of the three DNF (Did not finish) books, they weren’t bad in any sense. If I had picked them up at a different time or in a different state of mind I am certain I would have completed them (2 out of the 3 were extremely easy reads). I feel like I might have even enjoyed them. Regardless as it stands today they do not have any rating.
